The Department of Chest Diseases, Cairo University in co-operation with the Egyptian Chapter of The American College of Chest
Physicians (ACCP) are pleased to invite you to attend and share the activities of their conference
‘Update in Pulmonary Medicine’
which will take place on the premises of Cairo University, in the period between the 9th and 11th of July 2008.
The meeting’s agenda will discuss the following topics:
- Controversies in Asthma and COPD
- Pleural diseases
- Non-Invasive mechanical ventilation
- Lower respiratory tract infections.
- Pulmonary hypertension
The meeting is designed for Pulmonologists, internists, intensivists, pediatricians, and
will include special sessions for nurses and clinical pharmacists.
Hands-on workshops will be held alongside the conference, (11-12 July) in the
following topics:
- Diagnostic bronchoscopy
- Medical Thoracoscopy
- Pulmonary Function Testing
- Non-Invasive Mechanical Ventilation and Home Respiratory Care.
